Molly the Adventure Dog

IMAG0067Hi, my name is Molly the Adventure Dog. I’m half German Shepherd and half Rottweiler and 100% the best dog in the world – or so my girl tells me!

I was a stray who ended up at a humane society. Not long afterwards, my girl started volunteering there, and we sort of fell in love with each other. She brought me home in October 2010 and we’ve been besties ever since!

It’s my job to hold down the other end of the sofa while my girl writes her books. Whenever we can, my girl and I go hiking, biking, and camping and even explore interesting shops and museums together.

I know my girl is supposed to be the author, but she lets me write stuff sometimes, too! I hope you’ll enjoy reading about all our adventures.

Juliean the Superior Cat

DSC00292 (640x480)My name is Juliean. I was once a stray no one wanted. Perhaps because I’m a feline who knows my mind and calls things the way I see them. For instance, I hate cats. I lived at a shelter for two years – in a room with twenty other cats – and was miserable out of my wits.

My human turned out to be unusually perceptive. She understood that I felt insecure because my previous humans had taken my claws away. She made the other cats give me a lot of space. I appreciated that – and I actually started to purr again.

My human brought me home in November 2013. Her dog is a clumsy brute, but there are NO CATS. I will always be a little crabby – just to keep the human and the dog in line – but I do purr now more than I ever used to.

I am in charge of playing with crumpled paper. I would also like to handle the Twitter account, but the human vexes me by closing her laptop when she isn’t personally guarding it. I do have one thing in common with my human and her dog. I love the outdoors. I love to go exploring on my leash, and I’ve even been known to go camping.
